Cross Country

On Tuesday the 17th of May we had the Windsor School Cross Country. Room 2 Children showed what fantastic runners they were by zooming around the field. All children displayed determination by not giving up even when they were feeling really tired, WELL DONE guys. Below are some snaps of the race unraveling. We had a fantastic turn out of family and friends to cheer us on too. It was a fabulous day!!!

WEEK 3 Term 2!!!

Each week several children get the opportunity to share with the class something interesting. This could be a hobbie they do out of school, something exciting they have to share from home (collection, book, photos). This week for PAI Alyssa talked to us about Pippins. She showed us her sash with all the awesome badges on it, her certificate she was given and told us about all the exciting activities she gets to do at Pippins.

George shared with us his snake dictionary. He showed us some of his favourite snakes and we saw how big they could grow and how dangerous they could be if we got bitten by one! As a class we decided we would like to research a bit more into snakes and many children had some 'burning' questions to ask!

Yay!!! Finally the Room 2 blog is up and running. We now have a base that will be frequently updated with what is going on in our classroom and around Windsor school. We have made a fabulous start to term 2 and can't wait to see what the rest of the term has installed for us. We are the Terrific Twos and are ready for anything!!
